About Dr. Marcum

I have been in full-time dental practice since 1991. As a native of the Central Coast I have enjoyed practicing in Beautiful Historic Paso Robles since 1997. Although I have always enjoyed providing all phases of general and preventive dentistry, I began to develop a real passion for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry in the late 1990’s.

To further my skills, I began taking advanced courses in aesthetic dentistry at one of the world’s leading cosmetic dental training facilities, The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. While there, my staff and I were able to study and learn from masters in the field. In 2003, my passion led me to build a new facility full of ultra technology and special comforts for our patients. Since that time I have been privileged to provide the cosmetic dentistry for the Central Coasts’ only two Makeovers. My commitment to quality is equaled only by my commitment to providing exceptional customer service. My staff and I believe that each client is an individual, with unique ideals and goals. Only by listening to our patients are we able to discover theses goals. There is nothing that my staff and I enjoy more than seeing a happy patient with a beautiful smile. We provide dentistry that changes people’s lives, in doing so we change our own.

My life outside dentistry revolves around my wife, Lonnie and our two wonderful children, Tristan and Savannah. We enjoy spending time together traveling, boating, snow skiing, biking and playing games. I am an avid reader, particularly of dental journals and I love the History Channel. My hobbies include welding and wood working.
